James Cannon Yocom born September 6, 1935, was called to his heavenly home on November 14, 2015, at the age of 80. He attended Baylor University and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Conroe. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ann Yocom. He is survived by his second wife Margaret McCullough Yocom, 2 daughters, Dee Dee Vaughn and husband Mike; Jami Hughes, Margaret's children Deborah Gentile and husband Robert, Derrell Simpson Jr., 9 grandchildren, 4 1/2 great- grandchildren and his little dog Callie.
A memorial celebrating his life will be held Wednesday, November 18 at 2:30 at First Presbyterian Church of Conroe, 2727 Loop 336 west in Conroe.
