The Montgomery, Texas, community is deeply saddened by the passing of Jamison Marc Hewitt, a beloved individual who touched the lives of many. Known affectionately as Jamie, he entered this world on October 26, 1972, in Phoenix, Arizona, and departed on Monday, July 1, 2024, at 51. His presence will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Jamie is survived by his beautiful wife of 18 years, whom he cherished, Jeanne Fraley, parents Susan Hewitt and Lloyd Hewitt, and his father, Richard Cadriel (Kathleen). He leaves behind his sons, Skylar Hewitt (Lillian) and Dylan Hewitt (Amy), and his stepson Alan Andersen. His siblings, Jeff Hewitt (Michelle), Lucas Hewitt (Sandy), Tyler Hewitt (Jeanette), Jennie Hewitt (Nick), and Anna Hewitt, will forever hold him in their hearts. Additionally, Jamie leaves behind his grandchildren, Eli, Ethan, and Emma, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and close friends.
Jamie, a passionate music enthusiast, was the proud owner of That's My Jam D.J. Services. He hosted karaoke and weddings and managed Mariel's Meat Market in Montgomery, Texas. His love for cooking led him to pursue studies at the Culinary Institute Lenotre in Houston, Texas, showcasing his dedication to the culinary arts.
Jamie's devotion to his family and deep-rooted faith in God were at the core of his identity and career aspirations. His vibrant personality allowed him to derive happiness from life's tiny delights, whether it was passionately rooting for the Astros, embarking on spontaneous road trips, sharing videos, or finding solace in the serenity of nature alongside his loved ones. Jamie's endearing charm and sharp sense of humor enabled him to effortlessly fill any space with warmth and laughter, leaving a lasting impact on everyone he encountered.
At a later date, Jamie's family and close friends will come together to honor and celebrate his life, cherishing the memories he left behind and the positive influence he had on those around him.
