Jean was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and moved to Houston, Texas as a child and graduated from Reagan High School and played in the school marching band as a Redcoat. She was married in 1946, to Raymond Bond, and they settled in Houston where they raised 4 children. Then in 1971, they relocated to San Antonio, Texas. While residing in San Antonio, Jean worked as an assistant at a school for the handicapped, and was secretary for the counselors at John Marshall H.S. In 1975, Jean and Raymond moved to Conroe, Texas. Jean enjoyed bowling and dancing. She also loved working at the Towne Shoppe in Conroe until the store closed in July of 1999. She relished the time spent with the patrons of the store and her co-workers. Shortly thereafter, she retired.
