Jeanette McAfee, 84, was born on January 7, 1937 in Houston, Texas and passed away on September 1, 2021 in The Woodlands Texas. Jeanette was quickly renamed “Nanny” by her first grandchild. Everyone that met Nanny immediately felt her love and genuine compassion
She is preceded in death by her husband, Don McAfee Jr.; parents, Hill Laird and Della Arnold Laird; brothers, Raymond, Melvin, and Arnell Laird. Jeanette is survived by, daughters, Annette and her husband Bobby, and Carol Ann; grandchildren, Rachel Lanette, Cody and his wife Lauren; great grandchildren, Memphis; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and loving friends who will miss her dearly.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Cashner Funeral Home in Conroe, Texas. Jeanette will be laid to rest in the Houston National Cemetery with her husband, Don McAfee.
