Jeannie Louise High, age 78 of Houston, Texas went home to be with the Lord on March 28, 2023. She was born on September 27, 1944 to Jacob and Sylvia Deel at their then home in Sellersburg, Indiana and was the youngest of their children.
The family moved to Charlestown, Indiana where Jeannie spent most of her formative years. Later they moved to Houston, Texas where Jeannie attended Spring Branch High School.
Jeannie married Robert High and they enjoyed many years of traveling throughout the state of Texas. She was a devoted wife and homemaker.
Jeannie was preceded in death by her husband Robert (Bob) High, parents Jacob & Sylvia Deel, sister Virginia Deel, who died shortly after birth, as well as her sister Doris Robinson. She is survived by her sisters Wanita Oswalt and Carol Gabbard as well as many nieces and nephews.
A private interment will be held at Memorial Oaks Cemetery in Houston at a later date.
