Jeffrey Joseph Diemer “Jeff” passed away peacefully at his home on January 10, 2022. Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Jeff loved being with his loving family as a child. He always spoke highly of his family, his siblings, and his upbringing.
As a young man, Jeff was a journeyman carpenter and he loved woodworking. After getting his degree, Jeff was employed as a Nuclear Operator in Byron, Illinois and then helped open the Southeast Texas Nuclear Energy Plant. On August 11, 1998, Jeff married Marcell Lisembee. They were very much in love and he always called her his “wild Irish rose.” They were married for 24 years.
Jeff will be fondly remembered by his surviving family members: Marcell Diemer, his loving wife, his children, Lisa Diemer Velasco and Joseph Diemer, his siblings, Larry, Anne, Christine and Catherine Diemer, Stepchildren, Marina Rene Douthitt Valenzuela and William Joseph Douthitt, and Step-Grandchildren, Preston Prescott, Havynn Valenzuela, Layne Valenzuela, Julia Douthitt and Exa Douthitt.
A visitation for Jeffrey will be held Monday, January 17, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Copeland Chapel Cemetery, Montgomery, Texas, followed by a graveside service and interment at 2:00 PM.
