Jennifer Baudat Ray entered this world on November 14, 1956 to B.P. “Barney” Baudat and Lucille Baudat. She was the youngest in the family and for that reason, she was considered everyone’s baby. She lived life to the fullest from the time she entered this
world until she was delivered back to her Father, God in Heaven, in the early morning hours of Thursday, December 20, 2012. Jennifer is preceded in death by her loving parents, her sister Susie Baudat, her grandson Niles Toma Harrison, Jr. and her mother-in-law, Becky Ray.
Jennifer was an avid collector of antiques, with an artistic flair that spilled over in every aspect of her life. She used her creative nature to start businesses like The Greenwood Whistlestop Emporium in Plantersville, TX and also The Old Danville Candle Company. She was a young, vibrant mother and nana who made the world a more fun place and could be counted on to be the life of the party. She had a gift for making the places around her more eclectic and beautiful. Where ever she was, she made it feel like home.
She was a treasure to her family and her loss is an irreplaceable piece of our hearts.
Jennifer was a loving wife and precious angel to her husband, Charlie Ray, who in return was her angel as well. Jennifer was a loving mother to her son, Niles Toma Harrison and his wife, Lana and daughter, Myla Harrison Cobler and husband, Billy Cobler. She is survived by her two adoring sisters, Cheryl Baudat Fox and husband, John Fox and Phyllis Baudat Matthews and husband, Curtis Matthews. She was an adoring Nana to Keely Cobler, Ty Cobler, Kailyn Harrison, Carson Harrison, Jack Cobler and Aubrey Harrison. She was a special sister-in-law to Patty Dawson.
