Jerome Elias Rivera Sr.

Eli was born on July 15, 1965, in Hearne, TX. He spent his life working in construction, vacationing and loving those close to him; he was known for his hard work, kindness, humor, generosity, and later in life, his great faith and walk with the Lord.

He is survived by his adoring wife, Christie; children, Candyce and husband Allen, Crystal and husband Michael, Terry, Justin, Keegan and Rome; grandchildren, Emily and husband Cole, Allie, Lakyn, Rex and Bryar; parents, Carlos and Lupita; siblings, Charlie, Ronnie, and Lynus, their wives and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends near and far, work associates, other family and loved ones. Eli was preceded in death by his youngest brother Curtis, grandparents and other loved ones.

A funeral and celebration of life service will be held on January 17, 2026. The family will begin welcoming all at 10:00 AM for visitation with the service beginning at 11:00 AM, at Grimes Co. Fair & Expo, 5220 FM 3455, Navasota, TX, with Brandon Novosad officiating. Lunch and reception will follow.

Eli was welcomed home into the arms of his Savior, where he now rests in perfect peace. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
