Jerry served in the United States Navy and was a Navy Corpsman for the Marines during Vietnam. After being honorably discharged from the Navy, he met his wife in San Francisco. In 2013, Jerry and Kitty moved to Texas.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Kitty Mikesell; daughters Amber Fusca and husband Mark, and Samantha Mikesell and husband Alfonso Garcia; grandchildren Hayden Fusca, Logan Fusca, Ryan Fusca, and Isabella Mikesell-Garcia; and sister Judy Paus and husband Mike.
