Funeral services for Jimmie Herbert Marquart will be held Friday, March 26, 2010 at 3:00pm in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Bro. Tom Lanzia officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 25, 2010 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Cashner Funeral Home. Jimmie was born December 4, 1941 in LaGrange, Texas to Herbert Otto Marquart and Lilie Anna Marquart and entered into rest March 23, 2010 in Houston, Texas. Jimmie is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy Marquart; children, Becky Johnson and husband Stan, Diana Backus and husband Joe, Denise Downie and husband Todd, Bryan Marquart and wife Dana and Dennis Brown and wife Carol; grandchildren, Jordan Johnson, Abby Johnson, Avery, Rylie and Korynne Marquart, Brien Downie, William Downie and Clayton Brown; great granddaughter, Ariana Downie; sister, Peggy Wicks and brother, Allen Marquart and Deborah Wright. Pallbearers will be Jordan Johnson, Brien Downie, William Downie, Clayton Brown, Bryan Marquart and Dennis Brown. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Memorial Hermann Heart and Vascular Institute, 6411 Fannin Street, Houston, TX 77030.
