On August 2, 2011, John Thomas Dyson returned to live with his Heavenly Father and his loved ones who passed before him. John was a skilled engineer who had developed relationships with people of all cultures and ethnicities. He greatly valued his experiences in meeting these people and helping further their communities through his work. John was also a spiritual man who sought connection with God. He devoted much of his later life to serving Him and helping those he saw in need. He spent extensive time researching his family history and helping others research their own genealogical roots. He was an asset to his church community and his neighbors. John, often known to his friends as Johnny, is survived by his children: Meggan, Kaitie, John, Gwen, Rhonda, Denise, and Michelle. He has numerous grandchildren and one great grandchild. While John will be missed, we joy in the knowledge that he finally rests with his family and God.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. at Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Bishop Evans officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the church. Interment will immediately follow the service in Garden Park Cemetery. You are invited to leave written tributes and condolences for the family on our website at www.cashnerconroe.com.
