John Paul Sikorski, JR., 96, was born on June 29, 1925 in Stevens Point, Wisconsin passing away on August 21, 2021 in The Woodlands, Texas. John attended school in Stevens Point and graduated high school in June of 1943. Immediately following graduation, he entered the United States Army on July 19, 1943 and went to the European Theater with the 1288 Combat Engineers. He was honorably discharged in November of 1945. In February of 1947 he married Florence Wierzba and they had three children. John was a member of the American Legion for sixty three years, a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans and the Elks Club.
John is preceded in death by his parents, John and Lora Sikorski; infant sister, Dona Jean; wife, Florence Sikorski. He is survived by his children, Dr. James Alan Sikorski, Sandra Marie Juedes and Barbara Jean Jorgenson with three granddaughters and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services and internment will be held at a later date in Wisconsin.
