Funeral Services for John P. Sims, 68, of Conroe Texas will be held Wednesday, September 1, 2010, at 10:00am at Cashner Colonial Chapel with Rev. Rick Nance, Rev. Roche Coleman and Rev. Timothy Sims officiating with interment to follow at the Houston National Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, August 31, 2010 from 5:00 till 8:00pm at Cashner Funeral Home. John was born April 23, 1942 in Houston, Texas to Harold and Emma Sims and passed away August 27, 2010 in Conroe, Texas. John is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Sims. Mr. Sims is survived by his Daughters, Sabrina Sims of Houston, TX and Mary Sims of The Woodlands, TX.; Sons, John Sims Jr. of Seattle, WA and Gordon Sims of Lubbock, TX. Grandson, Royce Phillips of Conroe, TX; Brothers, Timothy Sims and his wife Joan of Hearne, TX and George Sims of Missouri City, TX and Sister, Emily Sims of Houston, TX.
