John Vernon, born May 20 1927, passed away on November 15, 2015 at the age of 88. Preceded in death by his loving wife of 66 years, Margie, John is survived by daughters; Debbie Roberts and Janie Philibert, son; James Vernon, grandchildren; Scott Hendrickson, Lisa Denby, April Flowers, Heather Davenport, great-grandchildren; Derek Roberts, Kadie Hendrickson, Alexis Flowers, Dustin Flowers, Brianna Hendrickson, other family members and a host of friends also survive. Visitation will be held at Cashner Funeral Home in Conroe, Texas on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at 9:00am with funeral service in Cashner Colonial Chapel, starting at 10:00am. Interment will be at Resthaven Cemetery at 12:00pm.
