John A. Vilardi

John A. Vilardi was born May 15, 1935 in Bristol, CT and passed away July 21, 2017 in Conroe, TX. John was preceded in death by his parents, Vito and Nina Vilardi, sister, Millie Guattery, and brother, Ted Vilardi. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Laverne Vilardi, sister, Rosemary Sadlers, daughters, Theresa and Susan Vilardi, son, Tony Vilardi and his wife Sue Vilardi, honorary daughter, Kim and husband Jay Nelson, grandchildren, Ashley Wixted and husband Doug Wixted, Ryan Nelson, Kevin Nelson, Joanna Forman and husband Jake Forman, and great grandchildren, Lilly and Taylor Forman. Numerous other relatives and a host of friends also survive. John served in the USMC and retired from the F.A.A. after 32 years as an Electronics Technician. He was a member of RiverPointe Baptist Church and a life-long Boston Red Sox fan. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Cashner Funeral Home at 2:00pm with Pastor Heath Powers officiating with visitation one hour prior to the service.
