John is survived by his loving wife of 46 years Kathy Young; sons: John Scott Young, Brian Keith Young and wife Tracie; grandson: Ethan Scott Young; and sister: Betty Loraine Young-Hollingsworth; and numerous other relatives and friends. John was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother who will be forever in our hearts and never be forgotten. We love you BIG JOHN!!! Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00PM Tuesday at Metcalf Funeral Directors. The funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday in Metcalf Funeral Directors. The interment will follow in Houston National Cemetery.
