Jonathan was larger than life from the very beginning. He was adventurous, generous, kind-hearted, and resilient, with a tremendous love for life—and a love for food that was hard for anyone to match. He was the kind of person who would give someone his last dollar or the shirt off his back without thinking twice.
From a young age, Jonathan loved to write songs, sing, dance, and create rap music. He could rap faster than you could listen, and he had an extraordinary memory. He seemed to remember everything from as far back as he could recall. He was exceptionally intelligent and had a creative spirit that was uniquely his own.
Jonathan graduated from Cy Creek High School and attended junior college for one year. He was the father of Devin Sebastian Guy.
Jonathan loved Jesus, lived his faith, and never met a stranger. His bright intelligence, humor, creativity, and generosity drew people in and made them feel welcome.
Jonathan was preceded in death by his beloved brother, Zachary Turner, and grandparents James Seay and Tena Seay, and Edward “Johnny” Klonek and Frankie Klonek
He is survived by his mother, Sherry Copeland; his stepfather, Victor Copeland; his son, Devin Sebastian Guy; and many beloved aunts, cousins, family members, and friends.
Jonathan will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, humor, intelligence, music, creativity, generosity, and enormous heart. He was truly one of a kind.
He never met a stranger, and he left an impression on everyone whose life he touched. His time here may have been far too short, but the love, memories, laughter, and stories he leaves behind will live on in those who knew him.
May Jonathan rest peacefully in the loving arms of Jesus.
