Joy Arettia Walding

Joy is preceded in death by her husband: Leland Bertrand Walding; son: Warren Wade Walding; parents; two brothers and five sisters.

Joy was one of eight children. She is survived by her daughter: Linda Walding Phillips and husband Robert L. Phillips; seven grandchildren: Ronald Lee Phillips and wife Diane Phillips, Troy Raymond Phillips and wife Lisa Philips, Deanna Dawn Phillips Sanders and husband Michael Sanders, Marlene Walding Delehant and husband David Delehant, Leonard Walding, Jackie DeHart and Husband Jim DeHart, Kimberly Chumley and husband Jim Girvan; 13 great grandchildren: Jonathan, Janie, Maci, Austin, Shelby, Christal, Zeke, Chanzie, Josh, Justin, Hailey, Kody, Kameron; 4 great great grandchildren: Ava, Hadley, Cadien, Cooper and Aiden on the way.

Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00PM Thursday at Metcalf Funeral Directors. The funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Friday at Metcalf Funeral Directors with the interment to follow in Whispering Pines Cemetery.
