Judith Sherry McLin

Judith lived most of her childhood in Groveton. She moved to Cleveland and graduated from Cleveland High School. She later married her high school sweetheart, Ray McLin, on September 1, 1956, and together they built a life rooted in devotion, love and loyalty.

Judith co-owned Ray-Mac TV before going on to work at the Texas Department of Transportation in Conroe, Texas, where she later retired. Throughout her working years and beyond, she was known as a thoughtful, kind-hearted presence, someone whose compassion was shown in loving, consistent ways.

A faithful and cherished member of her community, Judith was involved in her church and extended family. She also found joy in simple, meaningful pursuits: she was an avid reader, enjoyed sewing, and loved working in her flower beds—pastimes that reflected her gentle spirit.

Judith was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Ethel Harkins; her loving husband, Ray McLin; and her brothers, Gene Harkins, Wayne Harkins and wife Maxine, and Toby Harkins and wife Ann.

Judith is survived by her three children, Glen McLin and wife Rhonda, Sherry Taylor and husband Glenn, and Todd McLin; three grandsons, Richard Rowe, Cody Taylor, and Chad Taylor; two great grandchildren, Cooper Rowe and Kinley Taylor; her sister, Janis Taylor and husband Don; her sister-in-law, Jeanine Harkins; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
