Jutta Burden, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and dear friend, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2025 surrounded by loved ones. She is now reunited with her cherished husband of 61 years, Roy Burden, with whom she shared a devoted life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering companionship.
Her daughters, Diane Kinney and Carol Hearn, were the light of her life. She took immense pride in being their mother, offering unconditional love, guidance, and encouragement. Her bond with them was deep, steadfast, and filled with warmth. Family was at the center of Jutta’s world. She found great joy in being a grandmother to Colby, Candace, Nolan, Meagan, and Chelsea, and was deeply proud of her 13 great-grandchildren. Each of them brought special happiness to her life, and she treasured every moment spent with them.
Jutta was a trailblazer — brilliant in business and in life. She carried herself with intelligence, confidence, and grace, and she generously shared her wisdom with others. Adventure and travel, embracing new places, cultures, and experiences was her passion. Whether exploring far-off destinations or discovering something new close to home, Jutta lived life fully and with intention, curiosity and joy..
She was truly one of a kind, beautiful inside and out. Known for her kindness, integrity, and witty sense of humor, Jutta had a way of making people feel seen, supported, and uplifted. Her stories, warmth, and genuine care left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her. A natural mentor and guide, she took great pride in helping others grow, offering insight, encouragement, and steady leadership that left a lasting impact.
Known for her courage, strength, warmth, and kindness, Jutta had a way of making people feel both supported and inspired. As a dear friend, she offered loyalty, compassion, and a listening ear, always showing up with sincerity and love. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who were blessed to know her.
Jutta was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roy Burden, and her parents, Peter Scheer and Liselotte Scheer.
She is survived by her daughters, Diane Kinney and husband Kevin Kinney, and Carol Hearn and fiancé Shaun McDaniel; her grandchildren, Colby, Candace, Nolan, Meagan, and Chelsea; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Peter Scheer; sister, Monika Butz; along with extended family and dear friends who will forever hold her memory close.
