

Karl began his career with Texaco in 1953 in Denver. After his father passed away, Karl and his mother moved to Houston, Texas where he continued his career with Texaco.
On June 21st, 1958, Karl married Louise Josephine Warchesik. They raised four sons in the Shepherd Forest area of Houston where he coached many of their sports teams.
After 39 years of service, Karl retired from Texaco in 1992. He and Louise purchased their dream home in April Sound, where they lived on and off until Karl’s passing. Karl loved spending time with his grand and great grandchildren, fishing, running marathons, golfing and grilling. He enjoyed checking out restaurants and places he read about in Texas Monthly Magazine. In his 88 years, Karl enjoyed a full and happy life surrounded by his family.
Karl is survived by his wife of 66 years, Louise; his sons, Alan (Mari) of Montgomery, Texas; Russell (Jessica) of Austin, Texas; Troy (Roxanne) of Montgomery, Texas; grandchildren: Hunter Thompson, Kyle Lambrecht, Kaitlin Lambrecht, Jacob Lambrecht, Tess Lambrecht, James Lambrecht, Thomas Lambrecht, Will Lambrecht, Hannah Lambrecht, Matthew Lambrecht, Emily Gibb; great grandchildren: Beaux Cecil, Jax Cecil, and Wells Lambrecht. He was preceded in death by his eldest child Frank Karl Lambrecht and his parents.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024 at 11am at Garden Park Cemetery, 801 Teas Road, Conroe, Texas 77303.
