Kathryn Ellen Simmons

Kathryn was a wonderful loving mother. She was devoted to her children, and sacrificed much to ensure they were taken care of. She continued this with her grandchildren and did so until her passing.

She dedicated her life to caring for others. As a CMA nurse, she was committed to showing dignity and respect to those in her care. She spent a career working in elderly care facilities and hospice, assisting our societies most frail.

She loved fishing, the ocean, and the mountains, as well as being in the outdoors as much as possible. She was always known by friends and family as someone that would go out of her way to help. She was well loved and well respected.

Preceded in death by mother Barbara Anderson, father Chester Anderson, sister Marty Anderson, Kathryn is survived by brother Chris Anderson and wife Natalie, brother Scott Anderson and wife Deanna, brother Paul Miller, and sister Jody Bruso. Also daughter Patricia Arimond and partner Scott Johnson, and son Nathen Simmons and partner Sydni Thompson, along with 11 grandchildren and 5 nephews as well as extended family and many dear friends.

Celebration of life will be held on Sunday, March 28, 2021 at 10:00am at Cashner Funeral Home.
