I worked for Ken at Phillips Petroleum UK in the early 80’s. He was one of nicest people that I ever worked with. It was very clear to me that he loved his family dearly. 

My only regret is that I didn’t keep in touch with him after I left.

I hope this is okay. I worked with a Ken Daniels at Phillips Petroleum in the UK back in the early eighties. He was red headed and had a gold nugget ring which had a drilling derrick in raised gold plus rubies and diamonds. He did show me a photograph of his family whom he was very proud of. He also showed me a photograph of a summer house with a river running through the grounds. To be clear, he was the least ostentatious guy you could ever meet. He was a quiet man with great inner strength. I did have the pleasure of meeting his wife at a dinner dance. She was lovely too.

He was a great mentor to me (I was in my early 20’s) and I will always remember him with great fondness.

Ken always treated me with such kindness -- an old-fashioned gentleman PLUS.

Ken had the best personality, he always had a smile on his face.  I enjoyed it when he would play cards with us.  And I remember seeing a proud smile on his face when he would watch Tommy and Uncle B play their guitars.  He will be missed.  My thoughts and prayers are with you; Uncle B, Aunt Sue and Tommy. May God bring you comfort. I love you all.
