Born on July 5, 1968, in New Iberia, Louisiana, Beau lived a life defined by generosity, loyalty, and an unwavering love for his family. He grew up with a spirit of adventure, spending part of his childhood in Hawaii and Okinawa before returning to Louisiana. A proud graduate of Centenary College, Beau excelled both in academics and athletics, playing baseball for the Gents during his college years.
After graduation, Beau began what would become a 25-year career with Shell, a journey that allowed him to work across the globe, including a memorable chapter living in The Netherlands. While his professional achievements were many, Beau considered his greatest milestone to be fatherhood. His children, Ragan and Cole, were the center of his world, and he was deeply devoted to them.
Beau will be remembered for the ways he showed up for the people he loved. As a father, son, friend, softball coach, spectator, cook or handyman, his presence left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
He is survived by his children, Ragan Broussard and Cole Broussard, as well as his parents, Kenneth and Juanita Broussard. He was preceded in death by his sister, Kay Broussard Harwell, his maternal grandparents, Forrest and Odette Roy, and his paternal grandparents, Isaac and Georgia Broussard, whom he cherished deeply.
