Viewing will be held Friday, October 2, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cashner Funeral Home on Teas Road in Conroe. A second viewing will be held Saturday, October 3rd at 9:00 a.m. at the Northside Baptist Church, 701 N. FM 3083 W. Conroe TX, with funeral services to be held at 10:00 a.m. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. at the New York Texas Cemetery located at 6164 FM 607 N., LaRue TX, 75770 next to the New York Baptist Church.
Kenneth was born in the community of LaRue Texas to the late William Thomas and Sophronia Crossley. He is survived by Mary, his loving wife of 67 years, his children Michelle and husband Manny Angulo, son Brent and wife Brandie, two grandsons Ross Ward and Alex Crossley. He has two surviving brothers, Frank and CH (Buddy) Crossley and his wife Patsy. He is also survived by multiple nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother William Thomas Jr, and a sister Ellon Jerrine Crossley Hudson Lewis.
He proudly served in the United States Army and retired with over 35 years of service from the Texas Department of Public Safety with duty stations in Houston, Sherman, Athens and he spent his remaining years as the Highway Patrol sergeant in Montgomery County from 1969 to 1993. He graduated magna cum laude from Sam Houston State University and later attained his master’s degree in criminology. In his retirement he spent his time with family and friends and dedicated service to the church. He loved fishing and hunting and was merciless at playing dominoes with his Northside Baptist Prime Timers friends. He was a Mason of the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry Travis Lodge 117.
