Today, we celebrate the life of Ken, who passed away at the age of 80. Shortly before his passing, he underwent cataract surgery on both eyes, allowing him to see the world with renewed clarity and vibrant color—a fitting reminder that there is always beauty to be found, even in life's final chapter.

Better known as Dad, Grandpa, and most recently Great-Grandpa, Ken will be remembered for his love of family, his quick wit, and his unique sense of humor. He often referred to what he called "the Klein humor," and before long, any especially funny comment or memorable joke was simply credited to "the Klein humor." It became one of the many ways he brought laughter and joy to those around him.

As his daughters were growing up, Ken proudly coached them in bowling, encouraging them both on and off the lanes. As they entered adulthood, he continued to guide them with important financial decisions. Later in life, the roles came full circle as his daughters lovingly returned the favor, helping him manage his own finances with the same care and devotion he had always shown them.

Allana treasured every moment she spent with her Grandpa. Whether accompanying him to doctor's appointments or visiting him on weekends, she cherished their time together and created countless memories she will hold close to her heart forever. His wisdom, kindness, and unwavering love made every visit special, and she was grateful for every opportunity they shared.

Ken treasured his family and his many dear friends. He never missed an opportunity to tell them how much he loved them or how grateful he was for their kindness, support, and companionship. His appreciation for the people in his life was genuine and heartfelt.

Ken was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 44 years, Patty, and his grandson, Nick.

He leaves behind his daughters, Sherie and Sandy; his son-in-law, Allan; his grandchildren, Allana, Lance, and Ty; his grandchildren's spouses, CJ and Mary; and his treasured great-granddaughter, Camila. He also leaves behind extended family and many dear friends who will forever cherish the memories they shared with himWhile Ken's physical presence will be deeply missed, his laughter, love, and "the Klein humor" will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

A celebration of Ken's life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites those who wish to honor his memory to perform an act of kindness in his name or make a donation to a charity that was meaningful to him, such as the American Heart Association, Red Cross, Parkinson’s Foundation or the SPCA.

Ken will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and never forgotten.
