Kerry Michael Polk, 64 of Cleveland, TX went to be with his Lord on Monday, July 31, 2023. Kerry was born June 17, 1959 in Cleveland. He spent his formative years in the area and graduated from New Caney high School. In August of 1987 he married the love of his life, Sharron, and together they raised two wonderful children, Casey and Joshua.
Kerry was proud to own his own business and got to work with Baker Hughes and GE in the oil industry as a machinist. He was a fix-it man that worked with his hands and took every opportunity to teach his boys the same.
Kerry was a member of First Assembly of God Conroe for close to 20 years. With the Lord's leading and as the foundation of his family, he was always on the ready to mentor, teach, guide and lead.
He loved to travel to the cabin and spend summers in the Ozark Mountains of northern Arkansas with friends and family. He was full of laughter, joy and inspiration for everyone that crossed his path. He will be dearly missed by everyone around him.
Kerry is survived by his wife of 36 years, Sharron Kelley Polk, children, Casey Polk and fiancé Cristina Acosta, Joshua Polk and wife Jennifer Polk, grandson, Luke Stewart, mother, Ellen Whitener-McGuire, sister-in-law, Liz Polk, niece, Brook Polk and nephew, Brandon Polk.
