It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Linda "Nana" Balloun, who passed away peacefully at home on February 4, 2025, at the age of 84. Born on July 26, 1940, Linda was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Her warm heart, quick wit, and generous spirit will be missed by all who knew her.
Linda was welcomed into heaven by her beloved husband, Bill Balloun, and their son, Bobby Balloun, as well as many other friends and family who preceded her in death. Her family and loved ones take comfort knowing she is now reunited with them.
Linda leaves behind her four surviving children: Debra Elaine Stell, Katherine Anne Schoggins, Kenneth Wayne Balloun, and Mary Beth South. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, each of whom were blessed to have her in their lives.
A lover of sports, Linda enjoyed watching games, especially with her family by her side. She was known for her quick humor, her love of playing games, and her unwavering generosity—always ready to give to others in any way she could.
Linda’s legacy of love, kindness, and laughter will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She was truly one of a kind, and her memory will continue to bring comfort and joy to those who were fortunate enough to know her.
A viewing will be held on Sunday, February 9th, from 5-7 PM at Cashner Funeral Home in Conroe, TX. The funeral service will take place on Monday, February 10th, at 10 AM, also at Cashner Funeral Home. Following the service, a reception will be held at Beth’s house with light refreshments and to celebrate the life of this incredible woman.
Linda "Nana" Balloun will forever be loved and remembered, and her beautiful spirit will remain with us always. Rest in peace, Nana.
