Linda Jane Cameron

Born and raised in Wichita Falls, Linda attended Wichita Falls High School and later obtained her GED. At 18 years old, she married William David Cameron, beginning a life defined by steady commitment and enduring faith.

As a Navy wife, Linda’s devotion carried her and her family across many places—living all over the world and making a home wherever they were. Over the years, the family settled in Lubbock, Texas, later moved to Jenks, Oklahoma, then Spring, Texas, and also spent time living in Aberdeen, Scotland and Singapore. Through each change of address and season of life, Linda remained constant in her care for others, giving of herself with quiet strength and steadfast purpose.

Linda was the mother of three children, Michael, Sheri, and Brian. She found deep meaning in caring for her family, and her selfless spirit was often expressed in the simple, lasting ways that mattered most—through baking, cooking, and the daily work of a devoted homemaker and faithful wife. Her presence in the home was marked not only by diligence, but by a sincere readiness to put the needs of others ahead of her own. Linda loved traveling the world with her husband and took 26 cruises to see the beauty of God’s creation.

Linda was actively involved in her Church of Christ congregation, where her faithful nature and steady service reflected the values she lived by.

She was preceded in death by her father, Rupert Pritchett, and her mother, Mary Robinson.

Linda is survived by her loving husband, William “Dave” Cameron; her brother, Ken Robinson; her children, Michael Cameron, Sheri Lawrenz, and Brian Cameron; her daughter-in-laws, Deanna Cameron and Elizabeth Cameron; her grandchildren, Colby, Courtlyn, Keyton, Nathaniel, Olivia and Gaelen Cameron and Erika, Lara, Corey and Riley Lawrenz.

Visitation will be held at Cashner Funeral Home, 801 Teas Road, Conroe, TX 77303, on July 23, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will follow at Cashner Funeral Home on July 23, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
