LLOYD RAY HALE PASSED FROM THIS LIFE INTO THE ARMS OF HIS SAVIOR, THE LORD JESUS CHRIST ON APRIL 15, 2014. LLOYD WAS BORN ON DECEMBER 16, 1934, IN IRAAN, TEXAS. AFTER GRADUATING HIGH SCHOOL, HE ATTENDED TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY WHERE HE RECEIVED A DEGREE IN PETROLEUM ENGINEERING. WHILE AT TEXAS A&M HE PLAYED FOOTBALL UNDER THE TUTELAGE OF COACH PAUL “BEAR” BRYANT. HE PLAYED CENTER ON THE JUNCTION BOYS’ TEAM. HE LOVED TEXAS A&M, HIS COACHES AND ALL OF HIS TEAMMATES. THE LAST SEMESTER OF HIS SENIOR YEAR AT A&M, HE MARRIED HIS CHILDHOOD SWEETHEART, JOAN PAULEY. HE SERVED AS A 2ND LT. IN THE UNITED STATES ARMY UPON GRADUATING FROM A&M. HE WAS A MEMBER OF BERACHAH CHURCH FOR 49 YEARS WHERE HE LEARNED THAT THE WORD OF GOD IS ALIVE AND POWERFUL. HE LOVED GOD’S WORD AND HIS PASTORS WHO TAUGHT HIM FROM THE ORIGINAL LANGUAGES OF THE SCRIPTURE. HE WAS EMPLOYED BY B. P. HUDDLESTON & COMPANY, A HOUSTON CONSULTING PETROLEUM ENGINEERING COMPANY FOR 26 YEARS. HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS LOVING FAMILY, HIS DEVOTED WIFE OF 57 YEARS, JOAN PAULEY HALE, AND THEIR THREE CHILDREN, LLOYD RICHARD HALE AND HIS WIFE MITZI, MACHELE HALE LEE AND HER HUSBAND MICKEY AND CYNTHIA RAYFIELD AGUILAR. HE ALSO LEFT FOUR GRANDCHILDREN, ANDREW WESTIN LEE, CHELSEA LEE DERRINGTON AND HER HUSBAND JOHN, RICHARD COLEMAN HALE AND HIS WIFE KENDYL AND MACHELE ELISE AGUILAR. HE WAS A WONDERFUL HUSBAND, FATHER AND GRANDFATHER WHO ALWAYS HAD A SMILE ON HIS FACE AND A HUGE BEAR HUG FOR ALL. WE WILL MISS HIM BEYOND MEASURE, BUT WILL REJOICE WHEN WE MEET HIM IN HEAVEN WHERE WE WILL BE TOGETHER FOR ALL ETERNITY, FACE TO FACE WITH THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, OUR SAVIOR WHO DIED ON THE CROSS IN OUR PLACE. ACTS 4:12 – AND THERE IS SALVATION IN NO ONE ELSE; FOR THERE IS NO OTHER NAME UNDER HEAVEN GIVEN AMONG MEN WHEREBY WE MUST BE SAVED. THERE WILL BE NO SERVICE AT THE REQUEST OF THE DECEASED. Joan, am so sorry. Just yesterday learned. Always thought Lloyd was a real nice guy. From an ole Plane Geometry classmate- we live in Arlington. Wayne/Betty Holmes.

Joan, I am so very very sorry to hear of Lloyd's passing. I remember so well the day you and Lloyd married. Remember all the good times you had together and time will quickly heal the sorrow you feel now at his loss.
