Margery "Honey" Lear Morrison

Margery Anne Morrison, born in Joplin, Missouri on December 3, 1917, died late Saturday, March 4th, 2017 at her residence in The Woodlands, Texas under Hospice care. She had hoped to celebrate her 100th birthday in December, but her Lord Jesus called her home. She lived a full life with humor and caring for others. She was preceded in death by her former husband, James Willard Lear; husband Gordon J. Morrison; and son, James E. Lear and his wife Freda. Those who will greatly miss her are: daughter, Colleen Hosford and husband Patrick; six Grandchildren, Jim, John, and Mike Hosford and spouses; Steve and Ken Lear; and, Glenda Rodman. She also leaves eleven great- grandchildren and two great- great- grandchildren, many of whom spent time with her this past Christmas. One that will especially miss her is her little Chihuahua, Sassy. A service will be held this Saturday, March 11th at 3:00 pm at Cashner Funeral Home in Conroe. She will then travel to her final resting place to be with her deceased husband, Gordon Morrison at Rose Hills Mortuary in Whittier, California with a service in the Rainbow Chapel celebrating her life at 1:00 pm. on Tuesday March 14th.
