Marie Helen (Mantey) Becker, 91, formerly of South Milwaukee, WI passed away peacefully at her home in Conroe, TX on December 24, 2021. Marie was born to Frederick and Ada (nee: Coutts) Mantey on February 26, 1930. She graduated from South Milwaukee High School and went on to attend Michael Reese School of Nursing in Chicago where she became an RN. Marie was an active member of the South Milwaukee Women's Club and served on the Board of Health. Alan and Marie were united in marriage at the First Congregational Church of South Milwaukee in 1953. Marie will be lovingly remembered by her daughter; Heidi (Scott) Frankow; grandchildren; Max and Madeline Frankow, and niece Susan (David) Wright. She was preceded in death by her parents Frederick and Ada Mantey, sister Barbara Romanzo, and her husband Alan Becker. She will also be remembered by extended family and friends.
A memorial for Marie will take place in South Milwaukee on a yet to be determined date.
