Marilyn Joyce Scaggs, 68, of Conroe, TX went home to be with the lord at her residence surrounded by family. She was born in Rainsville, AL on December 16, 1945. Marilyn is proceeded in death by her parents, Edward Ray Parris and Louise Nerine Guthrie Parris, Brothers, Darrell Ray Parris and Leland James Parris, sister, Charlotte Jean Roth and one grandchild, Gary Wade Kubow. Those left to cherish her memory include daughters, Elisa Marie Badger and husband Mark of Chatanooga, TN, Donna Lee Conley and husband Gregory of Logan, WV, Ella Nerine Flippo and husband Randy of Mt. Home, AR, Sharon Nadine Dial and husband John of Conroe, TX, son, Robert Ray Scaggs and wife Renee of Conroe, TX, brother, Dervell Floyd Parris of Conroe, TX, sister, Faye Hand and husband Glenn of Middleburg, FL, twelve grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. Numerous other nieces and nephews also survive. Visitation will be held Sunday, October 19, 2014 from 10:00am to 2:00pm at Cashner Funeral Home with Glenn Hand Sr. officiating; cremation will follow.
