Martha Alice Hamlin

Martha was born in Kilgore Texas on October 12, 1938, to Edgar and Elsie Chappell. Martha married D.A. Hamlin on August 26, 1955.

Her Loving Family left behind, Daughter, Carla McDaniel and husband Raymond of Willis; Son, Dennis Hamlin and wife Donna of Point Blank; Grandchildren, Michael McDaniel of Conroe, Dayna Clark and husband Glenn of Conroe, April Rhodes of Livingston and Zach Hamlin and wife Amber of Kingwood;

Great-Grandchildren, Taylor McDaniel, Scott McDaniel, Bethany Rhodes, Reagin Clark, Brendan Hamlin, Jeremy Hamlin, and Elliot Hamlin; Sister, Barbara Haines of Conroe; Brother, Morris Chappell and wife Sherry of Shepherd and many nieces and nephews.

Martha was a long-time resident of Conroe. She was an employee of Beall’s and Palais Royal Department Stores for over 40 years.

Martha was a long-time dedicated member of Mims Baptist Church, where she was a member of the choir, and She taught the Lydia’s Ladies Sunday School Class.

A Graveside service will be held Thursday, December 29, 2022, at 1pm in Garden Park Cemetery, 801 Teas Road, Conroe Texas 77303.
