Martin Calvin Clawson Jr of Conroe, Texas, was born in Houston, Texas, on Tuesday, December 21st, 1948, and went to be present with the Lord on Tuesday, November 19th, 2019, at the age of 70 years. Martin was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was strong, dependable, caring, sarcastic, happy and enjoyed life. A master craftsman who enjoyed wood working and carpentry, spending time in the kitchen, waking early to get the brisket on the smoker, and he loved spending time with family and friends. More than anything, Martin had a deep personal relationship with Christ and that’s why we celebrate his Heavenly homecoming.

He was preceded in death by his former wife; Vanessa Clawson, parents; Martin and Thelma Clawson, grandchild; Michael Sipple. He is survived by his wife, Eva Clawson, siblings; Linda Taylor, Dennis Clawson, and Cynthia Rosales, children; Roy Clawson, Sharon Clawson, Rachel Williams, Linda Adelgren, Brouck Lucas, Martin Clawson III, Christi Clawson, Joseph Clawson, Ashley Blair, Josh Blair, and Ela Clawson grandchildren; Stormy Clawson, Amanda Clawson, Kenny Jackson, Kyle Jackson, Justin Clawson, Gavin Williams, Daxton Williams, Macie Williams, Hunter Adelgren, Hailey Adelgren, Holdyn Adelgren, Ally Lucas, Conor Lucas, Vanessa Clawson, Shane Clawson, Amelia Clawson, and Riley Blair Byrne, great grandchildren; Alana Bernick, Jayden Bernick, Annalise Winterbauer, June Winterbauer, Les Paul Jackson, Kylie Jackson, and Violet Jackson.

Visitation will be held at Cashner Funeral Home, in Conroe, Texas on Friday, November 22, 2019 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Celebration of life service for Martin Calvin Clawson Jr. will be held at the Cashner Colonial Chapel on Saturday, November 23, 2019, at 2:00pm. Honorary Pallbearers are Hunter Adelgren, Justin Clawson, Gavin Williams, Daxton Williams and Shane Clawson.

Martin Clawson Jr. and his family have a life-long commitment to Jesus Christ and fulfilling the Greatest Commission of missions. His family would like to continue that tradition by sending the children and grandchildren on Missions Trips to places such as Nicaragua and Pakistan. If you would like to make a donation to the family mission fund in lieu of flowers it would be much appreciated. https://www.gofundme.com/f/martin-clawson-jr-family-missionary-fund To leave condolences for the family, please go to cashnerconroe.com
