Frances was involved in various organizations; she was an active member of the Rotary Club of Conroe, the Lions Club of Conroe and was a member of the Business Women’s Forum.

Her passion was serving her church, First Presbyterian Church of Conroe and did so in numerous ways. At the end of the day the largest piece of Frances’s heart was her family, especially her grandsons who lovingly called her “Honey”. The family wishes to thank the excellent caregivers at Village Green, especially her Betty and Trisha.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday August 8th, 2020 at 11:00 am, First Presbyterian Church Conroe located at 2727 N. Loop 336 West. A live video stream of the service will be made available. Mitzi and Edwin,
Your mom was a dear friend and neighbor. We miss her deeply - her smile, words, visits, shared holidays, and her love. She will be remembered as we enjoyed her. Our lasting treasured memories are the plants she shared, the walks. the talks, the Friday nights dinners, church, Sunday School, meetings, cookies, our weekly Wednesday night Bible Study wine and cheese evenings with Suzie, Diane, Karen, Jackie and others - these will remain etched in our hearts as your mom enjoys her family and friends in heaven...until we join her. Blessings to each of you from both of us.

I will miss Mrs Mitchell! I have so many memories from our family’s camping together to spending Thanksgivings and Christmas together. I don’t think there was a weekend our family’s didn’t see each other as I was growing up. She was so smart, pretty and most of all a loving friend to us! She will always hold a special place in my heart!
We will meet again in Heaven!
God bless
Debbie
