Mary Helen Yawn, was born on December 17, 1940, and passed away on March 12, 2015, in Conroe, Texas at the age of 74. Mary enjoyed traveling, gardening, fishing, playing bingo, and the companionship of dogs. Preceded in death by her brother, Tommy Spivey, Mary is survived by her loving husband Sercy Yawn. She is also survived by her daughter; Karen Renee Nixdorf and husband Charles, son; Charles David Yawn and wife Sandra, grandchildren; Jennifer Macmillan and fiance' Geoff MacMillian, Christopher Nixdorf, Jeremy Nixdorf, Michael Villanueva, Juan Pena, and Brianna Ashley Yawn, great-grandchildren; Dylan Nixdorf, Delaney Reed, Summer Nixdorf, Amaya Reed, Hayley Nixdorf, Lily Nixdorf, Rosali Nixdorf, and Jeremy Nixdorf Jr. Visitation will be at Cashner Funeral Home in Conroe, Texas, on Monday, March 16, 2015 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. Funeral Service for Mary Helen Yawn will be held at the Cashner Colonial Chapel, 801 Teas Road, Conroe, Texas 77303, on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at 10:00am with interment following at the New Bethlehem Cemetery in Cut & Shoot, Texas.
