Michael Randolph Burch

Raised in Baytown, Texas, Michael graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1959. With a scholarship, Mike became a lifelong Cougar fan while attending the University of Houston. While attending U of H, he began a "temporary" job at Stefani Distributing that lasted 40 years. He was the General Manager there until joining Faust Distributing for 7 years until his retirement.

He is survived by his wife of seven years, Carrie Ocker; his children, Robert Burch and wife Eve, and Michaelene Morrison and husband Tim; his grandchildren, Johnathan Morrison, Bryanna Morrison, Crystal, Smithson and William Smithson, and 10 great-grandchildren. Mike is fondly remembered by Carrie’s children and grandchildren. Mike is also survived by his sister, Susan Burch.

Michael was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Burch; and his sister, Judy Chittenden.

A man of many interests, Michael was the President of his High School Reunion Committee, loved playing golf, and enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He was also an avid traveler. He had traveled to all 50 US states as well as taking trips to Europe and Asia.

A committal service will be held at the Garden of Memories Memorial Park, located at 5205 S First St, Lufkin, TX 75901, United States. The service is scheduled for January 6, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
