Michael Ray Coble

A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Mike’s life was defined by his deep love for his family. He is survived by two sisters, his wife of 57 years, Jan Coble, and their three daughters: Kristy and her husband Darren Zeringue, Wendy and her husband Chad Jones, and Kelli and her husband Travis Johnson.

Mike had a remarkable ability to solve problems and face challenges with patience and determination. Whether repairing something around the house or helping guide his family through life’s challenges, he was the person everyone turned to for wisdom and support.

Mike proudly served his country in the United States Army, reflecting his strong sense of duty, commitment, and service to others.

During Mike’s 33 years with IBM, he was known for his strong work ethic, intelligence, and dedication. A lifelong learner, he was always continuing his education and expanding his knowledge, a quality that reflected both his curiosity and determination to grow.

Mike took great pride in his family, and especially cherished time with his grandchildren: Emily and her husband Finn, Jacob, Jon, Carson, Connor, Olivia, and Paxton. He was also blessed to meet his great-granddaughter, Adalyne, who was born just five weeks before his passing – a moment that brought him great joy.

A man of faith and fellowship, Mike was actively involved in the men’s ministry at his church and was also a proud member of the Masonic Lodge in Conroe, where he formed many lasting friendships and served alongside others in the spirit of brotherhood and service.

His wife, daughters and grandchildren were the center of his world, and he dedicated his life to loving, supporting, and encouraging them. Mike’s steady presence, caring heart, and unwavering devotion to his family will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His legacy lives on through the generations of family who were blessed to call him husband, Daddy, uncle, and Grandaddy.

A Visitation will be held at Metcalf Funeral Directors, 1801 East White Oak Terrace, Conroe, Texas, 77304 on April 18, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.

A Celebration of Life will take place at Metcalf Funeral Directors, 1801 East White Oak Terrace, Conroe, Texas, 77304 on April 18, 2026, beginning at 2:00 pm with a Reception to follow.
