Michael Dean McGilvrey was born on July 24th, 1958, and went to be with the Lord on August 2nd, 2025, peacefully in his home surrounded by his family. Michael is survived by his wife and best friend of 43 years, Bonnie Jean McGilvrey and their three children Jonathan Dean McGilvrey, Amber Nicole Pearson, and Kimberly Anne McGilvrey. Michael is also survived by his three grandsons Michael Wayne Gonzalez, Jake Edward Pearson, and Logan Dean Pearson.
Mike was known for his generous heart, unwavering faith, and commitment to his family. He was a leader in his church community and spent countless hours serving those in need. Mike was an accomplished pinstriper and airbrush artist, leaving many beautiful pieces of art behind to be enjoyed for years to come. Mike was the greatest man many have ever known, and an inspiration to those he left behind. When he had a bad day, he would always say, “Well tomorrow is a new day and we get to try again.” Mike is living his new day and no longer facing the hardships life unjustly threw his way. Mike brought hope and happiness into the lives of all of those he interacted with. He will always be remembered and sorely missed. A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at 2:00 pm, at Cashner Funeral Home.
