Michael W. Sorrell was born July 16, 1954 in Kansas City, MO. , to Earnest W. and Vera Christine Bilyeu Sorrell. He passed away April 23, 2012 at his residence with his family by his side,at the age of 57. He retired from the Navy after 30 years of service. He is survived by his wife of37 years Becky Sorrell of Conroe, TX. He is also survived by his children: Elizabeth Powell and her husband Jason of Conroe, TX., and Dr. Michael Sorrell and his wife Dr. Cari of San Antonio, Tx. He had four grandchildren: Emilia, Finley, Quinn, and Colton Powell. He is survived by his parents and two brothers: Ernest Sorrell and Troy Sorrell, all of Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his son Patrick Sorrell. A private family service will be held at a later date.
