Michael Clinton Taylor of Conroe, TX, entered into his heavenly home on Thursday, December 21,2023, he was 62. Michael was born to Ethel Jeanne Stallcup Taylor and Terry Luther Taylor on Friday, October 13, 1961 in Lake Jackson, TX.
As a child, Michael spent his early years in Lake Jackson, but also spent time living in Chile and Brazil where his father was transferred for work. After moving back to Lake Jackson, Michael earned his Eagle Scout in October 1979. He graduated from Brazoswood High School in 1980. He attended the University of Houston where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Distribution with minors in Purchasing and Industrial Supervision in 1994. He later earned a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from U of H in 2006.
Michael loved his family and he cherished his dogs (especially Tykie and Bandit). He was a passionate sports fan and relished cheering for his beloved University of Houston Cougars, Houston Astros, Houston Texans, and the Oklahoma Sooners. He enjoyed grilling, cooking, and being outside. He took pleasure in feeding the deer in his backyard and listening to music.
Michael was preceded in death by his brother, Gregory Lawrence Taylor and his step father, William Eugene Talbot. Michael is survived by his mother, Ethel Stallcup Taylor Talbot; his father, Terry (Renee) Taylor; his sister, Terri Jeanne Taylor (John) Torrance, his step sister, Carol Ann Talbot (Jay) Koska; his step sister, Mary Elizabeth Talbot (Robert) Slaughter; his half-sister, Natalie Taylor; his half-brother, Daniel Taylor; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many, many friends.
Services for Michael Taylor will be held Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Cashner Funeral Home, 801 Teas Rd, Conroe, TX. Family visitation will be held from 12:30-1:00 pm, followed by a public visitation from 1:00-2:00 pm. A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 pm, followed by interment at Garden Park Cemetery next to the funeral home. Services will be officiated by Rev. Daniel Dominguez.
