Mildred "Millie" Pauline Boyd

Millie was born July 6, 1941, to Sidney Alton Rollinson and Etta Ursuline Rollinson. She is survived by older brother Sidney Van Rollinson and younger brother Elvis Wayne Rollinson. She grew up in Liberty Mississippi before moving to New Orleans with her family and attending high school there. While in New Orleans she met John L. Boyd and they were married. They were together 61 years and raised 5 children together; Cindy Lou Boyd, John O. Boyd, James S. Boyd, Daniel W. Boyd, Robert “Bo” Boyd. She also has eight Grandchildren: Amber M Boyd, James Travis Boyd, John Oliver Boyd II, Jace T Boyd, Clay A. Boyd, Cynthia M. Boyd, Caitlyn Rausch and Camryn Rausch. She has five Great Grandchildren: Ethan Lee, Nolan Lee, Alexis Lee, Aspen Boyd and Casey Boyd.

Millie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who kept her family close. She loved music and was an incredible cook, organizing family gatherings frequently, where she loved spending time with her kids, grandkids, great grandkids and her little dog Daisy.

A memorial gathering of friends and family will be held at her home in Seven Coves, Willis TX Sunday May 15th, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM
