Nancy Rose Randazzo Pillows passed away on August 18, 2020. She was born on April 25, 1940 in Omaha, Nebraska to Sebastiano Randazzo and Nancy Rose Caruso Davis. She lived in many places during her childhood including Washington State, Tucson, Arizona, San Angelo, Texas, and Midland, Texas where she graduated from Midland High School in 1957, where shortly after she met her husband, Clifford at the Moose Lodge in Odessa, Texas. Throughout high school she was president of the typing team, where she learned to type and eventually was able to type approximately 120 words per minute on a manual typewriter.
In 1969 they moved their family to Aldine/North Houston area and eventually set down roots in Spring, Texas where they lived from December of 1978 to February of 2018. She went on to be a bookkeeper for various companies, including Orkin Pest Control, Sandco Incorporated, Pioneer Concrete, and Nancy Rose Trucking-her husband’s trucking company, until 1991 and eventually worked for McDonald’s as a party coordinator until her retirement in 2005.
Nancy really loved her friends; she cherished every moment with them. She had a love for red roses, playing bingo, doing word searches, catching up and talking on the phone along with learning to text friends and family, she loved sending birthday greeting cards and shopping. Nancy loved her husband, Clifford of 61 years, her children, and her grandchildren.
Nancy is survived by her loving husband, Clifford Lyon Pillows, two daughters Bonnie Bea Runia, Gina Marie and Jeffrey Klein, son Michael Lee and Sonya Pillows. Her grandchildren Jennifer and Travis Benedict, David Ryan Klein, Jason Edward Runia, Deanna Marie Klein, Joshua Michael Pillows, Alexis Nicole and Garrett Eichers, Jonathan Thomas Pillows and great-grandson Bradley Reed. Her brother, Dennis “Red” and Christina Davis, her sisters, Linda Verwold, Sandra Randazzo, Ramona “Mona” Podany, and Christine Randazzo Shestak. She is preceded in death by her unborn infant, her son, Anthony Wayne Pillows, her mother, Nancy Rose Caruso Davis, stepfather, Wilfred “Bill” Warren Davis and father, Sebastiano “Yanno” Randazzo.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 21, 2020, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Cashner Funeral Home, in Conroe. Funeral services will be on Saturday, August 22nd at 2:00 p.m. at Cashner Funeral Home with burial to follow in Bennett Cemetery in Apple Springs.
