Born on October 21, 1947 in Houston, Texas to Inez and Leon Pappy Selph. She is survived by her children, Michael Wade Polson, Karen Inez Lewis and husband Theodore “Ted” Edwin Lewis, grandchildren Theodore Jacob “Jake” Lewis and his fiance’ Haley Gengo, Lindsey Inez Lewis, Alyssa Nicole Scott, Kayla Marie Scott, Michael James Scott, and Angelo Rene Scott.
She was an honor roll student at Sam Houston High school and went on to obtain her cosmetology license until she became a loving wife and mother. She later pursued a successful career as a reservation agent with Continental Airlines, later retiring in 2004. She resided in Houston until 2014 when she decided to move to Montgomery in order to be closer to her children and grandchildren.
She was a devout Baptist and kept her eyes fixed upon or Lord Jesus Christ throughout her entire life. Everyday she passionately discussed her closeness with Him and an adoration for His hand in her life. Pamela was a strong 20 year cancer survivor, having defeated it twice. Music ran in her blood, stemming from her father Leon Pappy Selph, she wrote a song for him titled “Answer to the Keeper of My Heart”, which he later performed on stage and featured on his album.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 29, 2023 beginning at 12:30 PM with the funeral service starting at 2:00 PM at Cashner Funeral Home, in Conroe, Texas. Following the funeral service will be a graveside service in Garden Park Cemetery, Conroe, TX 77303.
