Patricia Kay Jacobsen

Pat spent the first twenty years of her life in Madison, SD. She then moved to Sioux Falls and attended beauty school. She met James (Jim) Jacobsen in 1963 and they were married soon after and while there, Pat gave birth to her three children. Without complaining, Pat moved around the Midwest for Jim's work, living in West Fargo, ND; Apple Valley, MN; Aurora, IL; and finally to Spring, TX where she resided up to her retirement from Brown and Williamson. After retirement, they built a house in Willis, TX and resided there amongst a community of close friends up to her death.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents Lawrence (Babe) and Julia O'Connell. Pat is survived by her husband James, brother and sister-in-law Doug and Sharon O'Connell of Madison, SD; sister Jackie Tyc of Madison, SD; son and daughter-in-law Jeff and Beth Jacobsen of Spring, TX; daughter and son-in-law Sue and Jeff Martinez of Bennett, CO; son and daughter-in-law Shon and Jill Jacobsen of Oak Grove, MN; granddaughter Daphne Jacobsen; step-grandchildren Charlie and Zoe Daliege; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will take place on Saturday October 27th at the Cactus Lounge in Willis, TX from 5-8pm.
