Patricia was a warm, friendly, passionate woman whose mischievous sense of humor brought joy to those around her. Above all, she was devoted to her family and her faith. Family was at the center of Patricia’s life, and she had a special gift for making the people she loved feel seen, valued, and deeply cared for. She was there for her nieces and nephews through all of life’s important moments—graduations, weddings, showers, holidays, and countless family gatherings. Her presence was never just about attending; she made sure each of them knew how special they were and how much they were loved.
She loved spending time with her grandchildren, traveling, watching the Astros, and gathering around a table to play canasta, 42, or bunko. She also cherished family traditions, including friendship bread, her mother’s Christmas cinnamon rolls, and her mother’s chocolate pie.
Patricia spent her career serving children and families as a Childcare Director at the YMCA of Greater Houston. Her passion for helping others extended into her church and community, where she was an active part of Woodland Oaks Church of Christ and volunteered with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Her faith was an important part of who she was, and she had a genuine desire to care for and encourage those around her.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Michael “Mike” Osborn; her parents, Richard and Carol Posey; her in-laws, Jim and Sue Osborn Powell; uncle, Charles A. Wheeler; aunt, Cathy Wheeler Kneip; great niece, Hope Mafi; and cousins, Tom Miller and Calissa Kneip.
Patricia is survived by her children, Rebecca Osborn, John Osborn, and James Osborn and his wife, Kelbye; and her grandchildren, Ivan Meyers, Raegan Osborn, Samuel Osborn, and Olive Osborn. She is also survived by Robert and Cathy Posey, Randy and Julie Bibb, Jill Dennis, Tedd and Jan Muery, and Philip and Cammy Hall, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Patricia will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for her warmth, faith, generosity, and unwavering love for her family. Her life was marked by a passion for others, and the love she gave so freely will continue through the many people whose lives she touched.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Woodland Oak Church of Christ in The Woodlands, Texas. The Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 PM.
Graveside service will be held on Monday, August 31, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Garden Park Cemetery in Conroe, Texas.
