My condolences to your family. Pat was a sweet, caring lady. I was her school nurse but she was a dear friend to me.. She had such a joyful laugh. We had such good times together. She will be greatly missed.

I send my sincere condolences to the family. I remember Patsy when I was much younger (I was born 1947) and just realized we are cousins. Henrietta Miller Orr (My mother’s baby sister contacted me yesterday about Patsy). I had to refer to my Ancestry Family Tree to connect the dots. We lose contact so quickly. My mother is Helen Miller Randolph Norton (passed 2017) and her father is Homer Moses Miller ( passed 1971). Mary Henrietta (Aunt Bug) Lassiter Rabon would come to Aunt Jessie Miller Brooks house to visit Jimmie Cora Lassiter Miller (Ma-My great grandmother) . But it has been many years since Ma passed in 1965. I have such fond memories of Aunt Bug and Patsy. Jerilyn Haynes

My condolences and prayers to the Schuler family. Annette, prayers of comfort and peace for you and your family over the coming days, weeks and months ahead. I remember spending time at the Schulers home during my high school years of 74-78 and Mrs. Schuler was always so kind and gracious. She always had a smile on her face and an encouraging word for everyone she came in contact with. Say hi to my friend Carolyn Jo.

Mrs. Schumer was a beautiful inside and out lady. She was so full of Grace. I knew her from school and church and through the girls. My heart is saddened for Annette and the rest of the family. I pray God blessed all to have precious memories.

Mrs Schuler,
I have many fond memories of you all throughout high school 1972-1978. You were always kind and big hearted on the many band trips. I was broken hearted when Carolyn Jo passed and think of her, you and Annette often. God speed to the family, say hello to Carolyn Jo for me.
Very truly yours Glenn Gobbles Gosnell.

The Schuler family are in my prayers. Also, Patricia Schuler and I are cousins. Patricia and I, have the same Great Great Grandparents, which are William & Henrietta Lasseter. My Great Grandmother, Jimmie Miller (Lasseter), and Patricia’s Grandmother, Mary Rabon (Lasseter), are sisters. My grandfather, Homer Miller, and Patricia’s mother, Jasper Cartwright (Rabon), are cousins. My mother, Helen Norton (Miller), and Patricia, are 1st cousins, which makes Patricia and I, second cousins. I remember when I was growing up, my parents, Pat & Helen Norton, and I, went a few times to the Cartwright Dairy Farm, watching the cattle being milked. I had so much fun going there!

Patsy was always special! As a young girl, I loved staying at Aunt Jasper and Uncle Morgan’s home. I thought her the most beautiful girl (8-9 years older than I was) with her black hair and gorgeous complexion! That she was so nice to younger relatives cemented my heroine worship! Later, we shared interests in common as educators. I am so saddened to hear this news ~ prayers and blessings to the family and memories for comfort.

My condolences to the family as Mrs. Schuler will be greatly missed. Being in the band with Carolyn & Annette in high school, Mrs. Schuler was always there to give her support. Her huge smile was infectious and she was always positive and made everyone feel good about themselves.
I wish I could thank her for these awesome memories, and let her know how much her support, enthusiasm and encouragement meant to me. Thank you also for the love you showed so many students at Channelview H.S.
God has taken another angel home!
