the driver’s side door at the intersection of I-45 and Highway 105 while traveling southbound on
her way home from work.
Paula was born on February 9th, 1984 to Leopoldo Serrano and Alfonsa Torres. Paula
graduated from Conroe High School, Class of 2002. From there she worked for Montgomery
County Environmental Health Services. Paula was a big dreamer who could get bored easily.
She bounced around betweens jobs and helping her mother run her business, and raising her
oldest child until she settled down with HEB in 2013. With HEB she worked as a donut fryer
and worked her way to becoming a scratch baker. Paula poured love and compassion into her
work with HEB. She took so much pride in the finished product.
Paula is survived by her parents, her husband, Steven Sexton, and her children, Gabriel, Dean,
Marco, and Victoria. Paula was a devoted mother who was righteously consumed with
providing for and spending time with her family.
Paula was also a woman who loved Christ. She gave her life to Christ and surrendered her
entire being to following him. Wherever she went, she looked for any opportunity to be a light in
the darkness and to share the gospel.
A memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 am on January 12th, at Church Project The
