Pauline Hailey was my aunt and a mother to my late father and Uncle David and Richard Hailey. Pauline treated David and Richard as the were her own, Loving them and caring for them throughout life. Sam, Pauline, John and Steve were really my only semblance of family as my Grand Parents on my Hailey side. They raised David and Richard with Love and Dignity the same class and Joy they raised there very own family with. Pauline was the model that the Energizer bunny was molded from "She wrote that Book" even being blind, she never missed a beat. She was smart, caring and giving beyond belief. She represented the Hailey family with Dignity and Pride! The same way she cared for the City and the People of Conroe Texas. I am proud to say she had an impact on my life and I know she is sitting with her Husband,Son, David and Richard & Kelly laughing about the old days and rejoicing to be together again with the FAMILY. The earthly world lost a great Soul but Heaven gained AN ANGEL OF GOD!

To me, Mrs. Hailey was Steve and John's mom. To her treasured grandchildren and great grandchildren, she was a much loved "Mimi". To her fellow residents in Forest Estates, she was a fifty year stalwart, anchor and "good neighbor" and will always be associated with and remembered in that neighborhood. To the city of Conroe, she and her husband,Sam K. Hailey, were civic leaders who helped forge and direct the city for decades with their good stewardship, successful businesses, social relationships and community involvement. She was gracious in manner, dignified in action, elegant in stature and stylish in appearance. She always looked and dressed like she was on her way to somewhere important. She leaves behind a truly wonderful family that carries on the family name with pride, respect and love and that continues the rich tradition of generously giving of themselves to make the city a better place to live. Swanette and I extend our love and condolences to all of Mrs. Hailey's family and friends for your loss of such a beautiful person.
